Tiny Dark Deeds by Eden O'Neill
Did not finish book. Stopped at 60%.
I finally tapped out of this book at 60%. The first two books in the series were good, story wise, and one expects a little soap in a mafia series this long, but jezuss.
The twists and turns were fine, great even, but when the author leaned hard into the miscommunication trope again I just.
The back and forth on the two mains was painful asf in book one and two and would have been deliciously worth it if it had been resolved for this story, but as soon as anything got remotely close to good, another bomb gets dropped between these two that literally a ten minute conversation could have solved.
At this point I’m over it and in order to keep my kindle from getting chucked through a wall, I’ve elected to quit while my book rage is still manageable.
Someone tell me how it ends bc I just can’t.
