The world and characters established in The Way of Kings are explored more in Words of Radiance. We continue to follow the journey of Kaladin, Shallan, and Dalinar as they try to uncover more of the mystery happening in their individual lives and in Roshar. With 1081 pages, we spend a lot of that time learning more about each of the characters. The character growth is well done and is the main reason that WoR didn't feel as long as it was. Shallan's arc is my favorite so far. I'm also loving how the mystery surrounding what happened in Roshar is coming together. I'm sure there's plenty more to learn, but the morsels of information that Brandon is giving us are intriguing. I didn't think I was going to get into the Stormlight Archives like I have, but I'm ready for Edgedancer and Oathbringer next.
