what i love about sally rooney’s books is that they don’t have a major plot and instead take you along the journey of regular, imperfect people’s everyday lives. Instead of having big, jaw dropping moments, we get life lessons and different opinions on situations and I find that really helpful and eye opening. you never know what will happen next or how it will end and i loveeee that.

i loved the characters in this one and the relationships because it’s something I also value highly.

Such a lovely story, I really enjoyed it from start to finish except for when the pandemic got mentioned i got a little sad and frustrated but all is good sally
