I loved this book & the characters in it! Super interesting dive into a culture very much foreign to me. However, there was something missing for me and I can‘t quite put my finger on it, i suppose i would have liked more time developing some relationships between characters in the earlier parts of the book. Especially would have loved to see more of Zhu & Ma together & their relationship. Can‘t wait to start the sequel!
