Kevin Kwan is an auto buy author for me, and I usually read his books immediately. I love his unique writing style with the use of footnotes to help the reader immerse themselves into the story. This time I felt like this book was so relevant to current world events (eat the rich vibes). I thought the story was unique as usual.
I didn't love the middle part of the book. It felt like everyone was spread out across the world for a long time, and their stories felt more separate than they usually are with a Kevin Kwan book. I didn't love this part of the book, but the story moved alone at a quick enough pace that it was not a huge issue to me.
