I love JG’s writing and this was no different! She did an amazing job reimagining Beauty and the Beast taking place in Santa Barbara with a reclusive famous person and an eager to prove herself editorial assistant trying to drag a memoir out of him. Love love loved it. So many cute Beauty and the Beast references, black main characters who were both smart and kind, and a gorgeous SoCal setting! Closed door but still hot! Highly recommend!
