This was such a fun audiobook, and a really cool mashup of comedy/mystery/romance.

Finlay and Vero are constantly getting into trouble in the most hilarious ways possible. I love Finlay’s real life mom struggles, and Vero’s spicy and honest personality. They have the best friendship and are truly partners in crime. After reading the synopsis I really had no idea how the author could possibly tie all these different things together (Romance? Murder? Author struggles? The mafia?), but honestly this book is the perfect combination of all of the above.

This was the perfect break from the more intense fantasy reads that I tend to gravitate towards. The audiobook narrator was phenomenal too! No matter what genre you like to read, I think you’ll find something in the Finlay Donovan books that you’ll love.
