Meh. This was just meh.

I picked this up because I'd had it in my want to read list for a long time and I needed something to distract me while I got a tattoo. It was distracting enough, but mostly pretty boring. It didn't really go anywhere, the major themes were not really explored in depth, and I was not able to fully suspend my disbelief.

It was a pretty fast read, so that's nice.

This was also the book that made me decide I will read no more about the USA (and preferably also UK) this year and instead focus on the rest of the world. I'm done with reading the same book over and over again.
