Ever pass a book on the shelf and it immediately calls out to you? This was one of those for me.
Edit for reread: Felt like rereading something but wanted something short. I feel like this book sticks in my brain rather disproportionately for such a short, rather fast paced book. The first time I read this book, I finished the other book I was reading and immediately picked this one back up to reread the next day. There's this sense of unease and uncertainty that has me thinking about this book long after I've finished it. Not in a bad way, but I feel like I'm missing something, like there's more to know if I only look. This book is wonderfully eerie.
