A human born to vampires in a world run by vampires. Sounded like the perfect book. Except the FMC did nothing by cry the entire book. She is supposed to be a 17 year old, but acts like a child throughout the whole book. It reads very YA but then has some scenes that read more adult. I really wanted to enjoy this book, but the FMC just killed it for me. Every other chapter she was crying, her parents treated her like a 5 year old and the love interest was way too insta love with no build up. And the ending, like what. So anticlimactic given it took over 3/4 of the book to get there. It was over in just a few pages. I hate read this book and wish I had DNF.
