Crying in H Mart by Michelle Zauner
emotional

This book had been on my TBR for a while before I read it and I'm so glad I made time to listen to it. I was moved to tears by Zauner's reflections on her mother's life and death. The descriptions of Korean cooking and food are very evocative and support the memoir's thesis on the role of a parent and cuisine in connecting with culture.
