Reel by Kennedy Ryan

5.0

WOW THIS BOOK WAS NOTHING SHORT OF BREATHTAKING! I always say that Kennedy Ryan can’t write a short book but she also can’t write a bad one. Neevah and Canon were captivating like their love story had me from the beginning. Canon not wanting to make the mistake of sleeping with an actress in his film again and Neevah not wanting to ruin her big break like I loved the stakes. I also really enjoyed the will they wont they build up towards the beginning. They were almost instantly attracted to each other but Kennedy Ryan made us wait and it paid off big time. Canon and Neevah’s chemistry was literally insane like I couldn’t help but to smile because both of them were goners. They were so in love, I absolutely loved it. I feel like I’ve read a lot of okay romances lately where it was cute but this one has my entire heart. The story didn’t just have a gripping romance but Neevah dealing with lupus and the strained relationship with her sister all tied into this story so well. Reel had all the makings to be a beautiful love story but somehow it blew my expectations out the water. This was just excellent like woah! Romance will never be the same after this book because I found a new standard.
