I only read 'I have no mouth and I must scream' because that's the only story I was interested in. I was curious to read it because a YouTube channel I like covered AM in one of their videos and I wanted context before watching. It's an interesting story with a concept I enjoyed, some social commentary and religious symbolism. But did the only female character have to be physically abused, raped, slut shamed for being raped and Black ("ebony skin" gave me shivers), and did the gay man need to be "converted" into a heterosexual man and into a beast (half-monkey and half-man) for the point to be made and the social commentary effective? I don't think so 🙃 At least it was short.
