Murder Most Actual by Alexis Hall

4.0

i feel like this is the type of book that’s really, really enhanced by listening to the audiobook. there are definitely some flaws in the plot — the resolution felt a tiny bit lackluster, for example — but overall i really enjoyed the pacing and storyline. hall does a great job of balancing out the more serious and realistic aspects of the plot (namely liza and hanna’s marriage) with the more fun and unrealistic aspects (the wacky cast and clue-esque murder mystery). i really enjoyed this book and i think it’s a good cozy read, in a strange way.
