Cute story, definitely not ground breaking, but it isn’t meant to be. It’s a good palette cleanser for the holidays, but there isn’t much there to sink your teeth into. 

I didn’t like Kira at first and I’m still not completely sold on her characterization but she was likable enough after the first few chapters. The town and its shenanigans continue to make me chuckle and it was a good book to read while stuck on my couch with a cold and not enough working brain cells to read much else.
