Nick and Norah's Infinite Playlist by Rachel Cohn

This book was not a very good book, at all. I read this for book club and we did not have anything to talk about except how much, and why, we did not like the book. I was a very uneventful discussion and we were all disappointed by the way it came out. This book was just not for any of us. You could tell it was supposed to be a light and fluffy romance. Also a bit silly. And it seeming like they were trying to hard to make it so.
The swearing was overused. Normally I don’t mind books with some swearing, I actually kind of enjoy it at times. However, this book just didn’t use it correctly. At first it seemed ok, but afterward it got annoying. No one thinks or talks with that much swearing, it was unrealistic. It was almost like the authors were trying to make a word count, and said ‘hey lets throw in a bunch of swearing to make the book longer’. Neither was it written for someone who reads a lot. It was a book you really cant go to deep into or try to understand at a higher level because there is no level up there. It only makes the book more confusing.
And that is what we had tried to do. It didn’t work out. (I don’t even want to talk about this book anymore) But, even after reading my review and you still want to read it, go ahead. Let it not be said, though, that I didn’t warn you.
