this gives me a spot of bother by mark haddon vibes if that book was even worse than it was. in short, i really really dislike this book. it falls somewhere between psychological and realistic fiction and it pisses me off that

this man got away with all of the fucking shit he pulled. what the fuck. he is gross and disgusting and you know what? joan is gross and disgusting for taking him back afterwards.pardon my language but seriously, fuck them.

sadie and lena were tbh the only good characters. and mostly just lena. actually no, just lena. sadie was lowkey a bitch too.
yeah i really hate this book. the worst book i have read this year. the best kind of people? more like the worst kind of book.
