The Woman in Me by Britney Spears
4.0
Like every little girl in the 90s I sang along to Britney albums in my mirror using my hairbrush as a microphone.
My friends and I would choreograph dances to her music at school during lunchtime.
I used to ring up the radio station and request they play Lucky every weekend. Then I’d record it when it played on my cassette player.
I finally got to see Britney when her Circus tour came to Australia. The first time she’d ever been here.
It was sad to learn that tour was under the restrictions of her conservatorship.
I’m so glad she got to tell her story and that Michelle Williams read it with so much warmth and compassion. I highly recommend the audiobook.
