Shadow and Bone was great but I loved this SO much more then book one. 😍 I loved the new characters we get to meet, I loved getting to know the ones we already knew and I still adored the world of Ravka! I was originally going to give this a 4.5 but that ending made me raise it for sure. I felt this had everything that Shadow and Bone lacked for me, the action, the emotion, and intensity I love reading in books. I'm also basic and love Nikolai like everyone else. 😂
