This book had me on the edge of my seat and my heart racing from start to finish. It's been awhile since I've read a thriller that captivated me this much. Gina Royal is your average Midwestern housewife who discovers her husband is a serial killer. Fast forward a few years and we see her as Gwen Proctor, living on Stillhouse Lake under assumed identities and attempting to make a normal life for her children. Until a body is found in the lake and she's thrust back into the life she's attempting to hide from. I loved this book and couldn't tear myself away from it. A word to the wise- when you read this set aside a block of time because you won't be able to put it down!
