The pacing of this one was really off for me.
I felt like the love declaration came out of nowhere and honestly didn't really feel the chemistry. I kept being told it was explosive, but I didn't feel it.
I also felt Denny's mental health wasn't really discussed in depth. We know he's quiet and reserved and feels guilt about his parents deaths, but it all felt very superficial.
There were a number of unresolved plotlines; how did he tie up his relationship with MK, especially because they appeared together for his career? - Honestly, this whole storyline was kinda weird. Who vandalised the mill? It just felt disappointing in comparison to the other stories in this series.
