Another flop for a booktok turned author unfortunately and I think going forward I just need to do more research and steer clear lol because Jesus be a fence..if you want to read Hunger Games’ little sister then by all means proceed!!

I will say I enjoyed the magic system, there was a plague that left civilians with these miraculous powers but like why lol a normal plague just kills but sure. But then we also have just an awkward love triangle which I laughed at instantly. It just doesn’t make sense we didnt need it lol

I actually really enjoyed Kai’s POV, he was fun and cute and smug but for good reason, he has these pretty intimidating powers and is a prince so why not. But his brother Pip, Kit whatever like we didn’t need his story. 

I literally only got to the party and called it quits but yo to that point was HEAVY HG energy annnnnnd all I wanted to do was end the torture and read HG…so yep.
