Knotted by the Wolf Prince by Delaney Rain

3.75

This was fun. I mean, first contact and they’re basically a furry’s wet dream? I figured it would be, but it was also cute too.

Big wolf babe whining for his love? Yes please!

That said, I was disappointed in a couple things. One, the spice was less than stellar. I mean it wasn’t bad per se. Not while it was going. But the conclusions left something to be desired. Abrupt, lacking any real description, and just sort of lackluster.

And two, the edition that I read had the main character on the cover wearing what looked like a sherwani, so I made assumptions and thought we’d get a more nuanced cultural perspective from the human mc.

Unfortunately, what he’s wearing is actually apparently alien garb. So. That was a let down. I’ll admit that was at least partially on me, but still. Representation is hard to find in romance, especially MM, and I got all excited for it. 😥

Beyond these two things, it was a great little novella and definitely worth the short reading time.
