I loved this book. I think that it does have some great realistic things happening in it that many of us/kids can relate to. The puzzle is an added bonus in this story. A good read that is easy as a crossover into YA, but more for the issues. Kids in the book do seem a tiny bit older than 12 even though that is the age they are supposed to be.
