I don’t know why I convinced myself I wasn’t going to like this book burn this story surprised me in the best way possible. THIS BOOK WAS GOOD AS HELL (sorry I had to)! The way every POV and timeline come together to weave this interesting story was just amazing. We start and end this book with Peyote and his character was so fun to follow. His motivation throughout the book being he thinks he found out of a way out of hell and is following him to see if it was really possible. Then we have the stories we’re following on Earth which had me wondering how this all connected. When the puzzle finally came together flawlessly and I had all the answers I was just in disbelief with how fascinating this story was. Such a fun but also smart book that I’m so happy I read on Halloween.
