Resisting Maxu by Victoria Aveline
3.0
Struggled to finish this one.
Meg and Maxu just don't feel right for each other. Their chemistry was almost non-existent, and it felt like Meg just decided to ignore all her trauma in favor of having a mate. This could have been explored much more deeply. Maxu was not the right fit for her, at least as it was written, and I really struggled getting through to the end. I held out hope that there would be a spin, a twist, but alas. Same old same old. Taking a break before moving onto the next one.
