Daughter of Smoke and Bone by Laini Taylor

5.0

There are no words that are strong or right enough to truly justify my feelings towards this book. I still remember the first ever time I read it. I remember the second. The third. The fourth. Now, my fifth time reading DOSAB, I remember every little thing that made me fall in love with this story.

Taylor’s world building, character development, plot, pacing, and everything else within these pages, is breathtaking.

This is the book that made me fall in love with Prague. This is the story that drove me to wanting to visit and even possibly live there. This is the story that first and foremost made me fall in love with young adult fantasy. I don’t remember reading anything from this genre before I read DOSAB - it’s Taylor I have to thank for my YA fantasy love.
