I don't remember the first two feeling this frenetic. It's so scatter-brained with WAY too many asides and internal dialogue "jokes". And super repetitive. It answered any questions I had from the first book, I guess, but I basically tuned out half of it because it was boring or got caught up in the internal aside monologues that were annoying me.
