The 100-Year-Old Man Who Climbed Out the Window and Disappeared by Jonas Jonasson

Did not finish book. Stopped at 45%.
Got about halfway through this and just could not finish it!

I didn't enjoy it right from the start but decided I had to give it a chance before DNFing, and I wish  I hadn't bothered.

The attempt at humour was cringey, Alan was insufferable and not in an interesting way, it was like listening to a child but with none of the whimsy, innocence, or discovery. The whole premise and the story of Alan's life was ridiculous, and again, not in an interesting or fun way. A lot of the time it read like the author was trying to portray Alan as an offensive and inaccurate stereotype of an autistuc person.

I can see i'm in the minority, but I would like to give it minus stars for the hours I will never get back
