This took me ages to read. The first half drags terribly, and maybe that's the point, but it doesn't exactly make me eager to pick up the book. The second half returns to form though, when Rin and co are finally somewhat proactive. I wish I could give the first half of the book two stars and the second half four stars. I've averaged it out to three.
