Along Came a Spider by James Patterson

3.0

I have no idea whether this is a genre-defining piece-de-resistance or a really bad Holly wood B-movie.

It was thrilling, fast-paced and interesting but there were like a hundred time jumps, the romance/writing was cheesy and cringeworthy and no widowed, homicide detective with two young children struggling to make ends meet is going to be able to spend that much time laying around a deserted island or a lake house. I mean come on!
