Lost Hills by Lee Goldberg

3.0

A good page-turner but it has the same problem that most thrillers do- characters that are mere cardboard cutouts and who make it hard for us to care what happens to them. A lot of things didn't make sense and felt like they were there just to create mystery. The motive and modus operandi of the killer were baseless too.
Three stars instead of two because I did finish the book and actually liked Eve Ronin. I wish she was more developed.
