Blissful Land, Volume 1 by Ichimon Izumi
5.0
Blissful Land, Vol. 1 (My Kindle Review)
We’re taken back to 1800s Tibet and we follow the life of future doctor in training Khang Zhipa. He’s also a medical herb gatherer who puts his knowledge into action when helping a traveler and his daughter. After helping him, the traveler surprises him when he offers his daughter Rati as his bride. For now, Rati stays with Khang and his family at his home and both get to see what each other is like and slowly Khang will get comfortable with her.
I haven’t read a simple humble manga like “Blissful Land” in ages. It’s a very honest story about a young man who wants to be a doctor that later turns into something romantic. There’s something definitely budding between Khang and his bride, and for now it’s looks very promising. A (100%/Outstanding)
