Oh my goodness. Attica Locke plays no games with this book.

The language is so beautiful and her descriptions...oh my goodness. I kept stopping to re-read passages over and over because of the way the words sang.

The characters were all so rich and complex and yet so easy to relate to...and hate. She revealed clues that were like a strip tease and kept me turning pages. The foreshadowing was amazing. The plot twists were insane. And the ending made me tag her on Instagram and beg for part two.
