A Little Magic by Lindsey Lanza

5.0

I LOVED THIS BOOK. Add this to your TBR if you love:

✨Past and present timelines
✨Childhood friends to lovers
✨Dual POV
✨Forced proximity/snowed in a cabin together
✨All the holiday traditions
✨Chronic illness rep

I don’t normally love holiday reads because I think they tend to be cheesy, but I LOVED this one. It was emotional, well written, and will make you cry, smile, and laugh (THE LETTERS omg).
One of my favorite things about this book is how the timeline switches from past to present. Their love story develops over so many years and it was absolutely beautiful. Theo is such a sweetheart and must be protected at all costs. The chronic illness rep is real and believable, and I wish more books had this type of representation. Just like in her first book, Speechless, Lindsey Lanza does an incredible job giving a voice to people living with chronic illness and the impact it has on daily life, mental health, and relationships.

And somehow, Lanza also incorporates all the cutest holiday and winter scenes without being cheesy and I LOVED it!
