A gripping gothic inspired dark fantasy tale exploring the world of hunters and the paranormal.

Harlan, a modern day Van Helsing Hunter is having a rough week. After returning from a hunt he's confronted by a bitter rival and forcibly exiled from his hunter life until further notice. In need of a friend he turns to his mentor Eli, but finds a mysterious solicitor present with a curious offer of employment and the lure of a vampire hunt. Initially wary, Harlan gives into temptation and embarks on a haunting journey into family mysteries, unsolved murders, dark secrets, supernatural activity, and the curiosities of Thornhill Mansion.

This is entertaining from start to finish, the plot is captivating, the characters in depth and intriguing, and the undercurrents of darkness, mystery and the paranormal are threaded throughout the rich prose.

Highly recommend and looking forward to reading more of this series.
