This one was more original compared to The Housemaid, which was a pure copy/ paste of The Last Mrs. Parrish by Live Constantine. Although the main character became unnervingly annoying as if she was a characters of a poor person. I enjoyed the two “twists” at the end but kind of saw the first one coming a mile away. Can be read without reading the first book. I wish she would’ve just changed the Millie character altogether instead of trying to ride the coattails of her first successful novel.
