Pancakes Taste Like Poverty: And Other Post-Divorce Revelations by Jessica Vivian
5.0
It's a friend's book, but the review is totally unbiased.
Pancakes taste like poverty can also be titled as "How to win at life when life gives you Jupiter sized lemons". The book is a journey. Jessica Vivian, without a single layer of fabrication, bravely takes you with her on her post-divorce voyage which is filled with struggle, tears, pain, heart-break, anger, and disappointment. But the journey doesn't end there. The book is filled with sharp wit, unadulterated humor, and mind-boggling analogies written by a strong, selfless, and a badass broad. It made me smile, it made me laugh and it made me get out of my PJs and do something better today. Thank you, Jessica.
