Crooked Kingdom by Leigh Bardugo

So…

I have just finished Six of Crows & Crooked Kingdom, and I am at loss of words..

WOW!!

I think books like this are very hard to write reviews of. Mainly due to the fact that There is so many twists and turns, that its hard to write anything at all without giving away spoilers.. Also that they are so magical/addictive that they put the readers in such a haze/spellbound condition, its hard for them to form any proper thoughts except.. wow!

I don’t know what I should talk about. The vivid yet realistic world building? or the mesmerizing yet flawed characters? or the plot, wild, one that keeps changing and twisting so much that the reader keeps guessing all her way till the end without getting bored?

I loved every one of the characters. They were flawed, they were human, they were crows..

Kaz leaned back. “What’s the easiest way to steal a man’s wallet?”
“Knife to the throat?” asked Inej.
“Gun to the back?” said Jesper.
“Poison in his cup?” suggested Nina.
“You’re all horrible,” said Matthias.

Apart from the twists, its really hard not to enjoy their witty banters. Not love them as they fight through their issues and fears, as they grow. If I have to pick one of them as my favorite, it will be Inej. I loved her throughly.

When my sister heard that I am reading Six of Crows she told me to get the Crooked Kingdom ready. She WARNED me!! And thanks to her I had a copy of the 2nd book ready and didn’t go mad when I finished the 1st one!! It finishes at such a cliffhanger!!!!

All in all I loved this doulogy and gonna recommend it to everyone!!

READ IT GUYS!!! ITS A GEM!!!
