MM jock/emo foster care romance.
If you’re a fan of Whit by Cora Rose, you’ll like this. The playlist slaps too.

Despite the title, it’s surprisingly feel good and full of support. I actually expected it to be *more* hostile and angsty, but it feels like the author couldn’t bear to hurt her characters more. I wouldn’t call it a dark romance by any stretch, but rather a sweet coming-of-age for a foster care survivor.
