This book was New Jersey Jewish at its finest. I loved all the pop culture references and the Jewish rep that was strong throughout the book. I also enjoyed the alternating POV's from each of the siblings. It was the perfect way to go through each of the events. There was a lightheartedness balanced with some heavy conversation and I was honestly living for the Jacobson family drama. I wish there had been more heart-to-hearts but I understand why they presented themselves toward the end of the book. It was also the perfect book for summer even though the timeline extended past that. I loved the complexities of the characters and how each one had pretty significant development. I love anything of Friedland's and this was fab!
