Worth the Fall by J. Sterling

5.0

I devoured this book in one sitting. This is my first book from J. Sterling and it will not be my last! I am very excited to see where the rest of this small town series goes.

I loved Thomas and Brooklyn’s first run in. It had me laughing and smiling from ear to ear because it was so funny and something I could see happening in real life. But of course it wasn’t all easy going after that and Thomas made assumptions about Brooklyn and he made sure to apologize and admit that he was wrong and jumped to conclusions about her. Brooklyn and Thomas started off a bit rocky with the work relationship but they eventually grew and evolved and that relationship started to turn into more.

Clara, Thomas’s daughter, was absolutely adorable! Her relationship with each character in the book was so wholesome and so sweet! I also loved her knack for giving nicknames to every person in her life including Brooklyn and giving her the nickname waffle princess!

I honestly loved the banter between Thomas and Brooklyn and how she never backed down to him and she spoke her mind around him. These two had so much chemistry and were perfect for each other. The 3rd act conflict (no breakup) surprised me and I appreciated how it played out and how Thomas communicated to Brooklyn in understanding exactly what she needed.

I honestly can’t wait for the next book in the series! I am excited to see the brothers get their HEA!

Thank you Wordsmith for the arc of this book
