Plume: The Omnibus by K. Lynn Smith
4.0
Vesper and Corrick’s relationship is so much fun to read, and it’s so much fun to watch other people reacting to their relationship. The artwork isn’t groundbreaking, but it is pretty good throughout. The biggest issue with this graphic novel is that it is so fast paced that it sometimes struggles to hit the emotional beats of the story. The story definitely didn’t go where I was expecting, and that was pleasantly surprising. However, once again the pacing of the story, and what I realised the obvious time and location jumps between issues made it harder to always navigate the story. This was especially true when Vesper and Corrick got separated.
