Northranger without a doubt gave me the feeling that I get when reading heartstopper & that is a feeling that is hard to come by! The romance between Cade & Henry was honestly so heartwarming. Generally I think this story did a great job with handling very sensitive topics like internalized homophobia, homophobia, racism, & mental health, with care. Towards the end it felt like the story started rushing to wrap up and therefore throwing in a lot of plot heavy stuff all at once. I really feel like this book could’ve benefited from being a series, I would’ve LOVED some elongated time with this story & these characters! I wasn’t too big a fan of the horror being a part of the plot (aside from Cade & Henry loving horror movies, I thought that was super cute & a nice thing for them to bond over) other than that this graphic novel was such a great read.
