I'm going to give this 5 stars because I freaking adore these two guys: they're awesome and lovely and just perfect for each other. I loved how they bonded over a simple life spent between doggie dates, gardening, book talking, easy dinners and great intimacy. No fancy stuff needed (take that, Preston!)

It is obviously a little more angsty because Sam fell first and fast and he was the one waiting for Lane to acknowledge that they were in love and for him to throw away the restricting definition of "no strings attached".

I liked the epilogue very much and the life they built together reflect their relationship and what really matters for them.
Very recommended
