The last time I read a book that touched me this deeply was when I sobbed over All the Bright Places on a metro ride to school.

Emery Lord’s words felt like being understood and coming home to all the darkest places that we have inside of us and still being able to find beauty in all of that.
These characters were special and the story is one that will stay with me long past the time that the specific words and details start to fade from my memory.
