Sisters of the Vast Black by Lina Rather
5.0
I haven't read for entertainment and leisure for a while now as I have been occupied with other projects. My concentration - when not work-working or free time-working - has been scattered, so I've been a bit hesitant to pick up a book. I didn't think a book could keep me in its grip in this mindset.
I was WRONG. I couldn't tear myself away from this one, except when I forced myself to because I had a feeling I would not be able to stop if I got into it too much. I loved it. It's not perfect, but it's close enough.
Recommended for: lovers of sentient space ships, nuns in space, heart-wrenching plot twists and hold-your-breath-until-you-pass-out kind of excitement.
