A Sea of Unspoken Things by Adrienne Young
5.0
I would like to thank the publisher and NetGalley for allowing me to read and honestly review an advanced reader’s copy of this book.
I was so happy to get an ARC for this! Adrienne Young does this type of suspenseful, semi-fantasy atmospheric thriller so incredibly well; and this book was no exception.
This book follows James, an artist who managed to escape her misty mountain small town 20 years ago, after a tragic accident killed one of her friends.
She left behind Johnny; her twin brother. And in the end, his murder is what brings her back to this small town and all the secrets James left behind her 20 years ago.
This book is perfect for these winter months: I can’t use the word ‘atmospheric’ enough, because every word of this book is rich in it. The mystery keeps you engaged the whole way through; because every time I thought I knew what was going on, I was wrong!
