Very very odd book, but I think it was worth persevering, the ending came together quite well. This is a bizarre parallel universe full of hibernating humans, zombies and subterfuge. It absolutely is not predictable in any way, so that was kind of fun, but I did think it was a bit harder to wrap my head around the “rules” of this particular universe and I was tempted to give up a few times.
