Rafe by Rebekah Weatherspoon
4.0
This was my first time reading a book by @rebekahweatherspoon and listen, I wasn’t prepared to devour this book and jump right into the second one!
This story starts off with Dr. Sloan coming home from a long day of work to find her 6 year old twin daughters home alone because their nanny ran off in the middle of the day. In complete distress, Sloan leans on her support system for help. Luckily for her, one her friends know of a live in nanny that would be happy to fill in on short notice. But what Sloan didn’t know was the nanny would be this tall, tattooed, bike riding, white man that’s ready to do more than be her nanny and has a heart of gold.
There’s nothing like a good low angst forbidden love story to make your day better and this book did not disappoint. When I tell you by the end of this book I found myself wanting to borrow someone else’s kids to see if my husband would reenact some of the most intamate and heartwarming moments in this book. You couldn’t tell me Rafe didn’t love them girls just as must if not more than Sloan did. A man that can cook, learns how to do mixed kids hair, and don’t mind stepping to your ex husband respectfully, is a man that can put me on the kitchen counter anyday.
